Abstract
The learning process by a teacher still has some obstacles that are often encountered, such as students who are too passive in the learning process, conditions like this are very difficult for a teacher, because in this situation the teacher will find it difficult to ascertain whether the students have understood and understood the material delivered or not. This study aims to examine the influence of the teacher’s communication patterns on the students’ speaking activeness of eleventh-grade students at Darul Ulum Senior High School Sugio during the 2023-2024 school year. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research methodology, utilizing questionnaires to collect data from 26 random samples of Grade XI students. Statistical analysis using SPSS version 16.0 is conducted to determine the strength and nature of the influence of the teacher’s communication patterns on the students’ speaking zctiveness. The findings reveal that the teacher uses the all-way communication patterns the most between the three communication patterns, while the students’ speaking activeness is in very high category. And Last, the simple regression linearity test result shows that R table is 0.579, indicating that the influence of the teacher’s communication patterns on the students’ speaking activeness is medium.
