Abstract
Today English is needed in many aspects. One of the English assessment tests is IELTS. IELTS is required when a person wants to study or work abroad, especially in Europe. There are four skills tested including writing. Writing itself has such two types of task as task one and task two. Task two is more complicated for it needs wide range of experience of test takers. It requires many aspects such as grammar, lexical resource or vocabulary, coherence and cohession and also ability to deliver the idea in well-organized paragraphs. Furthermore, this study has an object of place to be researched, ELFAST, a well-known English course in Kampung Inggris, Pare. This course has IELTS Camp program and it has succeeded in creating the number of alumni who are able to get high score in official IELTS Test. The purpose of this research are: (1) to describe the factors influencing task two of writing of IELTS Camp class at ELFAST, (2) to describe the process of coaching task two of writing of IELTS Camp class at ELFAST, (3) to find out the result of coaching task two of writing of IELTS Camp class at ELFAST. The research uses qualitative research design that emphasizes on describing particular research. This research design also used some instruments to collect data like participant observation, interview to student, teacher, and owner, documentation and questionnaire to prove that the institution chosen is worth it to be researched. Then the data having been collected were analyzed to obtain the result of research. Thus this study tries to find the factors that become influencial to get high score in IELTS test, particularly in task two of writing of IELTS Camp class at ELFAST. The subjects of this research are the students of IELTS Camp class at ELFAST and the teacher of task two of writing of IELTS Camp class at ELFAST. The members of IELTS Camp class observed are 40 members. The result of research shows that (1) there are some factors affecting to task two of writing of IELTS Camp class at ELFAST. Due to factors influencing writing IELTS, some great factors are found. They are writing teacher's background, IELTS students' background which shows that most of students have had a basic of English that support them in learning IELTS, the lesson source taken from several reliable sites, and supportive environment strengthening
