Abstract

Writing is most likely to encourage thinking and learning when students view writing as a process. In teaching learning process a language , there are five aspect that support four language skills above such as: grammar, vocabulary, mechanic, form and generic structure that are also taught in English teaching and learning process. The aim of the research is to find out the answer the four statements of the problems. Those are: (1) How is the students’narrative writing achievement in treatment group at the tenth grade of MAN Krecek Pare Kediri?, (2)How is the students’narrative writing achievement in controlgroup at the tenth grade of MAN Krecek Pare Kediri?, (3) Is there any differences result of the students’ writing narrative achievement between control and treatment groupat the tenth grade of MAN Krecek Pare Kediri?, (4) Is teaching writing narrative text by using animation film of the tenth grade students of MAN Krecek Pare effective? Quantitative experimental design was used the approach to design this researech. The subject of the study is the tenth grade students of MAN Krecek Pare. The sample were X IPA 3 class as the experiment groupwhichconsist of 37 students, and X IPA | class as the control group which consist of 37 studentsIn this study, this research used test and where take one class taught by Animation Film. To get the data, this research used test, they are test for treatment class and test for control class. After getting result of score between treatment class and control class, the data was couted by using SPSS to find t — test. It is used to find out whether there is significant difference between treatment class and control class being taught by using Animation FIlm as medium. In this research used

The result of statistical computation value of the test is3.130 while t-table with degree of freedom (df) 72 at 5% significant level is 2.00. It can be seen that t-statistic value is higher t-table. Because there is a significant increased in student’s writing after doing a treatment, it can be said that Animation Fllm is reallyeffective in writing Narrative text of the tenth grade students of MAN Krecek Pare academic year 2015/2016. So, the alternative hypothesis was accepted. It is recommended of research was: (1) for the teacher should apply Animation FIlm as in teaching learning process especially in writing Narrative text. (2) for the students the Animation Fllm media can help the students to good writer and can improve writing skill. (3) for the next researcher hope this thesis will create the teaching writing with many techniques, so it can make easier to the students understanding and mastered the writing skill.
