This research was carried out in Kurung Rejo Village, Ngetrep Hamlet, Prambon Subdistrict, Nganjuk Regency, with mountainous (gromosal) soil type that has a neutral pH and is at a height of land between 100 meters above sea level, this research was conducted 2 months on April 16 2019 until June 14, 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction between spacing and doses of manure from cow dung toelephant grass. The results of the study are expected to provide information and increase knowledge and experience especially to students and can provide information to the community and farmers about the knowledge of elephant grass production with the application of different doses of manure dung fertilizer and different spacing.

The material used in this study is cow dung manure and elephant grass seedlings.
The parameters observed were plant heingt, leat, length, fresh weight, and dry weight of elephant grass plants.

The method used in this study is the RAK research method with a pattern of factors that are applied by the first factor and the second factor The first factor is the spacing (50cm x 50cm; 50cm x 75cm; 50cm x 100cm). The second factor is different doses of manure for manure (3kg / plot; 6kg / plot; 9 kg / plot). From these two factors, 9 treatment combinations were obtained each repeated 3 times.

The results of this study were the interaction of different spacing and administration of different dung manure doses of manure had no significant effect (P <0.05) on plant height, leaf length, plant fresh weight, and dry weight of elephant grass plants. The treatment of giving different doses of manure from manure also had no significant effect (P <0.05) on plant height, leaf length, plant fresh weight, and dry weight of elephant grass plants. Different treatment spacing did not significantly affect (P <0.05) on plant height and leaf length, and dry weight of elephant grass plants, but had a significant effect (P> 0.05) on fresh weight of elephant grass plants.
